Montgomery County H1N1 Update

UTMB Montgomery County continues to receive reports of flu cases, as well as H1N1 cases, hospitalizations and deaths. 

Health officials remind individuals that flu season continues until May, and it is not too late to get a flu vaccine. Vaccination opportunities thoughout the contry can be at found at http://flu.gov.

Through July 2010, UTMB Montgomery County Health Department (701 E. Davis, Ste. A in Conroe) will provide free H1N1 vaccines during the following hours:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (lunch from Noon- 1 p.m.) and Thursdays 10 a.m.- 7 p.m (lunch 2-3:00 p.m.)

The Montgomery County Health Department also sends nurses to give vaccinations at businesses, child-care facilites and at other agencies who whis to obtain vaccine for their employees or clients. Organizations interested in hosting H1N1 vaccination opportunities can contact Emily McGraw, RN at 936-525-2865.
