TRANSPORTATION

The District offers demand response transportation services:  Individuals in need of transportation to essential errands within Montgomery County, such as to FEMA’s DRC, medical appointments or services can schedule a ride.  The first step is calling 1-800-272-0039 to register with The District.  Information required will be name, address, contact number, and any special needs required by the passenger.  As soon as the registration is processed (about 30 minutes) rides can be scheduled.  Reservations are taken up to 7 days in advance.  Due to availability it is best to schedule as early as possible.  Based on availability same day rides can be scheduled for $4.  All other scheduled rides are $3.
